Amenities are displayed in Rentals United both in “tick boxes” and below in the general amenities. There will be no difference on the sales channels where the amenity is located in Rentals United. The amenities will be displayed in the sales channel according to the design on that sale channel.
Here is an example of duplicate Refrigerator and microwave amenity in Escapia:
- Bedding:
Bedding will appear in the general field. Rentals United will automatically distribute the beds into the bedrooms only of the number of beds equally can be divided in the bedrooms. If the bedding is duplicated, please ensure bedding has not been added in the Amenities section in Escapia.
Bedding should be added in Details -> Accommodation in Escapia
However if the bedding is also added in Amenities, they will appear twice in Rentals United. Example below:
- Photo tags:
Check that the correct photo is selected as Main and that the photos has the correct image category.
Image category and main photo is selected in Units -> Pictures -> select photo in Escapia.
- Rent:
Rentals United pull prices from Escapia using a Full Stay pricing method. In order to check the prices, go to Properties -> Edit/Improve -> Price and availability (Step 5) -> Pricing -> click the edit icon next to the date of the check in -> Scroll down to Full Stay pricing. Here you will see the total amount of the rent depending on the check out date. This will include any taxes and/or fees that you have grouped with rent in Escapia (taxes and fees outside of rent will be added on top).
All channels that support the LOS pricing model will support the full stay pricing model. You can review this article with an overview of the channels. You want to look in the last column called: Length of stay pricing. Any channel that does not support LOS pricing/Full Stay pricing, Rentals United will send the max price to that channel (for example Agoda). Screenshot depicting the logic of this below:
- Taxes and fees:
Check that the taxes and fees outside of rent is correct.
- Optional fees are not supported - Remove them from feeding to Rentals United in Escapia
- If Security deposit is coming in as a fee - Remove it from feeding to Rentals United in Escapia
- Taxes and fees that changes depending on length of stay are NOT supported.
In Escapia taxes and fees can be grouped with rent by ticking in the box “group this charge with rent”. If a tax or fee is grouped with rent, it will not appear as a separate line item in Rentals United but instead will be part of the rent displayed in “pricing” in Rentals United.
