How to handle requests or enquiries from HomeAway

You have a choice to turn inquiries on or off in HomeAway. These will show as Requests in your Rentals United account and can only be read. Please note that Requests will always come into RU without a price:


You need to answer them via email. 

In order to convert a request into a booking, you will need to direct the traveller back to HomeAway and ask them to book using the Book Now button and follow the checkout flow.

Once the traveller has booked, the reservation will show as 'Confirmed' on the section 'My Bookings' in RU:
