Rentals United is now ready to publish listings in Google Vacation Rentals and drive traffic straight to your website. With this solution, your potential guests may get to know your business better as well as get acquainted with your brand.
Since the traffic goes directly to your website, you are able to utilise more acquisition strategies helping you get more bookings including presenting similar listings, newsletter sign ups and remarketing. With the Rentals United connection, the traffic from Google comes at no additional cost per click.

Your brand will be presented in the Google Vacation Rentals search results:
It will also be visible in the Google listing details page:
When the potential guest clicks the “Visit site” button, they will be redirected to the property page on your website, where they will be able to complete the booking process or get in touch with your team.
Configuration
Configuring the distribution is currently done on a project basis. Following conditions apply.
- You:
- Have an active Rentals United subscription
- Distribute at least 200 properties to Google via Rentals United (the minimum number of properties as of April 2021. We expect that minimum to be gradually decreased in the coming months, so read on).
- Your website:
- Supports URL parameters allowing to pass property ID, arrival date, departure date, number of guests, and display price quote for such stay. Guests coming to your website from Google Vacation Rentals need to see the price quote for their stay.
- The price quote displayed on your website includes the price mark up set for Google in Rentals United. In case you are adding a percentage mark up to your Rentals United prices, your website needs to include it as well. Google are constantly monitoring price consistency between the prices they present to guests and price the guests see on the landing page.
- Has Google Ads conversion tracking set up on the booking confirmation page - we will provide you with it after the project is initiated.
- Is compliant with Google policies described here.
- Traffic redirect is configured using the Rentals United Gateway API. This will ensure your potential guests end up on the correct landing pages. In case you are not able to adopt it yourself, Rentals United can configure the redirects for you at the one-time cost of €250. To do so, Rentals United will require:
- Information about the parameters and the way to use them
- Mapping of Rentals United Property IDs and respective landing page URLs on your website
- Required content
- In case you use from a PMS or via API, your property images need to be available under HTTPS
- Your landing pages need to use HTTPS
- Your logo has to fulfil the below requirements:
- Resolution of at least 72x72 pixels
- Square dimensions only
- No more than three text characters per icon
- PNG format
- Transparent or on a non-white background
- No alcohol, violence, or sexual content
- Must match the favicon or artwork on the advertiser’s final URL
